And that’s a wrap on 2020.

Well, it’s that time of the year again… you know, the one where you don’t only stress at the state of the world, but also about holiday gifts and preparations.

And you can believe this year is ending? I still feel like I’m in March, since then everything has been, to some point, on hold for me. While I was able to continue working on a lot of great projects, some of them coming, some of them already here, there is a lot more that I would like to have achieved in 2020.

But you know what? That’s fine. I managed to survive a world-wide disaster and that should be plenty. I’m fortunate enough to sit down and enjoy a meal with my family this year, lots of people won’t have that privilege. I guess it helps to keep things in perspective. Even with everything that happened, I can say that I’m fine.

And that’s an attitude I want to carry over to 2021: Be grateful for what I have, and don’t stress about what I don’t, but rather work hard to get there. It won’t be easy, but I guess that if most of us work towards that, lots of progress can be done. Look at us, humans! We managed to get a vaccine in less than a year, when usually it takes a whole lot more. It’s proof that if we all work towards a common goal, the sky is only the limit. Imagine what could we do if we used that manpower in other areas.

All in all, I won’t say that this has been a great year, I would be lying if I did, but overall, I’m hopeful for what’s to come. I want to thank to each and everyone who has been with me, in person or virtually, along for this hectic ride. Here’s for a better tomorrow, but on the meantime let’s enjoy what we have now. If 2020 has taught me something, is to never take things for granted.

Take care, wear a mask and stay safe.

Facundo.
